What is a Communicative Disorders Assistant?
Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) are support personnel who work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).  All of the CDAs at Little Talkers hold Bachelor's degrees, as well as a graduate certificiate specific to CDA education.  CDAs are trained to carry out speech and language therapy, through coursework and hands-on experience.

CDAs are highly skilled at speech and language treatment.  If your child is working with a CDA, the SLP will complete an assessment and set communication goals for the CDA to target.
